Finnish Sauna

There is a Finnish sauna on site which can be booked by any guest. We offer you to spend time in the hotel benefiting your health.

The sauna is good for the nervous system, it helps to relax from work, business meetings and other concerns. The sauna with a dry heat in the Hotel Aviastar suits well for those who can not tolerate the high humidity of a Russian sauna. The temperature in the Finnish sauna compared to the Russian one can be high (up to 100 °C). The humidity of the Finnish sauna is only about 15%.

What Is Our Sauna?

It is a small cozy steam room with wooden benches and lamps. The steam room is finished with natural raw wood, exactly how it should be in any Finnish sauna. The air heating temperature in the steam room can be adjusted. Before going to the sauna you will get everything you need: towels, sheets, hats and slippers.

One of the Finnish sauna features is its dry steam. Taking a shower before visiting is recommended. We have separate shower rooms with all the necessary personal hygiene items.

There is a cable TV, a comfortable sofa and an electric fireplace in the common room. You can get together with friends or colleagues in the breaks between visits to the steam room. Food and beverages order is also available. You can have dinner right after visiting the steam room.

Sauna Tips

If you are visiting a dry steam room for the first time, this small instruction will be useful to remember. Take a shower before entering the sauna but do not wet your hair. Then carefully dry yourself with a towel and go to the steam room. Stay there no more than 7-8 minutes, 4-5 minutes will be enough for beginners. Then exit the steam room and rest for 10-15 minutes. Re-enter the steam room after. You can take a shower, drink tea, juice or mineral water between breaks.

Location and Surrounding Area

Another Aviastar Hotel advantage is its convenient location. The restaurant of Georgian cuisine Antresol, The Bulki bar, Ikra sushi bar, coffee shop Dali, Cube fitness center, Aviator sports center, Kryl'ya cinema, McDonalds, Samolyot and Veles shopping centers, Lenta hypermarket, Pyaterochka, Gulliver and Magnit supermarkets are located near the hotel.
